How do I know what size toolbelt I need?

Is the belt for right- or left-handed builders?

The setup is modular and ambidextrous. You can rearrange pouches to whichever side suits your dominant hand.

Will the suspenders fit someone who is 6 feet 8 inches tall?

Yes — the suspenders are fully adjustable and designed to fit builders up to 7 feet tall. Tall frame? No problem — you’ll have plenty of strap length and adjustment range for a secure, comfortable fit.

Will the tape pocket hold a 35' FatMax?

Yes — it fits in the top tape pouch. The pouch is shallow for quick access, even with gloves on.

Can I carry a torpedo level in the belt, or do I need an add-on pouch?

The main rig has pockets that can hold a torpedo level. For a dedicated space, we recommend our 10” bolt pouch.

Where’s the nail pouch?

Nails can be stored in either of the main pouches. For higher capacity, check out our 5” or 10” bolt pouches.

Is there enough room to carry nails in the toolbelt?

What size is the phone pocket?

The phone pocket measures 3.3 inches wide and 7 inches tall. However, the pocket stretches to fit phones up to 4.1" wide. If you're using a bulky case, the fit may be tighter, but it still works for most setups.

Will the smartphone holder fit a Samsung S24 Ultra?

Yes — it fits phones up to 4.1" wide. The S24 Ultra is 3.3" wide, so it will slide in and out comfortably in most cases. If you're using a bulky case, the fit may be tighter, but it still works for most setups.

How much do the belt and suspenders weigh together?

The belt and suspenders together weigh approximately 6.5 lbs.

Where can I hang my drill or impact?

The center strap or belt body itself works well for drills. Erik hangs his drill on the back of his own setup! You can also use our Clip-On Tool Belt Drill Holder for Cordless Drill, Tape Measure, and Impact Driver.

Will the hammer holder fit non-Perkins belts?

The clip-on version is universal. The holster version is designed specifically for the Perkins belt system.

Where is the toolbelt made?

Our Perkins Builder Belts are proudly manufactured in Thailand. We partner with skilled craftsmen there to ensure consistent quality and attention to detail, so each belt meets the high standards we set for performance, comfort, and durability.
