How do I know what size toolbelt I need?
The belt is specifically designed to be worn around your lower back. To find the right size, begin at your belly button with a tape measure and wrap it around your torso. Our tool belts feature adjustable elements to suit a variety of sizes, ensuring a comfortable fit for every user. See image below for dimensions.
What is your return policy?
We have a 30-day return policy, which allows customers to request a return within 30 days of receiving their item. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original condition, unworn, and in its original packaging.
How do I initiate a return?
To initiate a return, please contact us at stud@perkinsbuilderbelt.com. If your order is eligible for return, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions on how to send your package back to us.
What should I do if my item is damaged or defective?
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at stud@perkinsbuilderbelt.com. Please include images of the damage/defect. We will evaluate the issue and work to resolve it promptly, ensuring you receive a satisfactory solution.
Do you offer expedited shipping options?
Yes, we offer expedited shipping options for those who require faster delivery. However, please note that delivery times are not guaranteed on weekends or holidays, and factors beyond our control may affect shipment timelines during these periods.
What changes took place with the launch of the second-generation toolbelt?
Toolbelt:- Removal of Rear Drill Clips: Not everyone was using these clips, so we took them off to lower the price a bit without losing any important functions.
- Removal of Rear Chalk Line Pouch: Now, you can buy this separately if you want it, letting you personalize your toolbelt the way you like.
- Modified Front Buckle: We changed this to a design that's just as good but helps us keep the cost down, making sure you still get great quality and comfort.
- Improved Tape Measure Pocket: We tweaked this pocket to let you reach your tape measure more easily and quickly.
- Additional Carpenter Pencil Slots: Now, you can carry more carpenter pencils with you, so you always have a spare handy.
- Enhanced Suspender Adjustment Clips: These new clips adjust more easily and stay closed securely.
- Shortened Adjustment Strap Length and Added Strap Organization Loop: This change helps keep everything tidy and prevents straps from getting tangled up while you work.
- Removal of Magnetic Holder and Earphone Pocket: We took these features out to concentrate on what's most important and useful, allowing us to offer the toolbelt at a better price without cutting corners on quality.
Where can I hang my drill or impact?
The center strap or toolbelt itself can be used to attach drills. Erik hangs his drill on the back of the belt!
Why does my toolbelt not have the drill clips or earphone pocket?
These features are features of our first generation belt. We have now only the Essential tool belt (the second generation). Please see question above on "What changes took place with the launch of the second-generation toolbelt?" for a detailed explanation.
How do I adjust the suspenders?

Can the toolbelt be used for left and right-handed people?
Our tool belts are made for both left and right-handed people. You can easily move the belt pouches from side to side because they attach with Velcro.
